Agile Facilitation

Agile Facilitation

The need for Agile Facilitation is also essential in an organisation where Agile processes are implemented. But Facilitation is not about instructing. Facilitation is the art of guiding and binding the team—goal-oriented, time-efficient, and promoting all participants’ well-being. Give room to all voices in a group, establishing an atmosphere of listening to each other and ensuring all decisions are backed and owned. As these Skills are being developed, some key beliefs and principles help the Agile Facilitator to grow and nurture self and the team. By increasing with these branches and leaves, the team feels aligned and hopefully takes ownership in facilitating themselves and the team. As we in Web and App Studio have our Agile Facilitators, the entire team does see, hear, and experience the benefits of these facilitation techniques. Understanding the first Agile Value, Individual and Interactions over Processes and Tools, it’s essential to find the right way to handle self and everyone in the team. It’s well noted that the facilitator does not provide answers. What they create, stretch out with their hands and make the most conducive environment for each individual to contribute their knowledge and clarify their concerns so that the group can choose the best route for their situation as a self-organised team responding to the needs.
